Today, not only has this been one of the most motivating and exciting days for me towards my blog, but it has been the creation to care about and support HALF United.
HALF United was founded in 2009 by Carmin Black after traveling and working for TOMS Shoes. Her inspiration towards TOMS, made her and her brother join together along with many other friends to create a company that would feed children in need. In return, Carmin and her brother Christian Black decided that a good way to get a young, fashion forward audience, they would have to give something in return. The process is easy, all you have to do is purchase a product and you give one child in need a week's meal. Half's goal is to feed the children in need, and to also make an impact on people's life's by uniting peacefully within this process.
So far, HALF United has successfully been able to feed kids in Wilmington NC, Fiji, Liberia and formerly in Haiti, and they continue to grow until one day they will hopefully be able to feed HALF of world's hunger.
