Men's turtlenecks have been through few years of dark ages. However, Wesley Pentz, known as DJ DIPLO, brings them back in the October's GQ Magazine isuue.
Here are a few tips on how men can wear turtlenecks this fall and winter by looking chic, edgy, and fun all at once.
Movie Star: The trench coat over a turtleneck will give you the look of a balanced layered look and will create an image of a trench coat becoming a great accessory to a simple outfit. Makes you men look like movie stars!
Taking Rest:We have seen ties, bow ties, and button ups many times. Why not give them a rest, and follow up wearing turtle necks under a vest. This look will your dressy outfit seem more clean cut yet a bit more casual.
Catalog King: In love with the mod and seventies look? Grab a colorful cardigan and add it to a neutral color turtleneck. This look is extremely fun and outgoing.
The Bad Boy Look: Lately I have been in love with Son's of Anarchy and their bad boy looks. If you want to look pretty tough yourself but still look fashion forward, add a leather jacket to your turtleneck, and girls would be head over heels for this bad boy look.
Working Babe: If you wants to make a statement at work and show them who the boss is, wear a neutral colored suit with a bright colored turtleneck. This look will really show ambition and passion for your job.
Casual Love: Not really into dressing up? Well you don't have to! If you are more of the casual guys, you can easily be casual, comfortable, and still look amazing. Wear a turtleneck with dark colored fitted jeans, and dress/casual shoes and I can guarantee you will be able to look casual and fashion forward at the same time.
Also, if you haven't already noticed, this month (October), I will be focusing on nothing but men's fashion and will be dedicated for all men. I have noticed that men again are following up with fashion trends, and each day I see more men dressing up on casual days. I believe that it is amazing that men care for their looks, because just like girls, we all want to have a presentable look. You never know who you'll meet, so always look your best.
