A Freeze-Frame for Your Eye in the Strobelight

A little fact about me: Music is a huge part of my life. Growing up I played piano, acoustic guitar, and I took dance classes. Therefore, the sound of beats, bass, vocals, and instruments really catches my attention. I listen to every types of music in pretty much any language. So today, let's talk about a little bit of music.

There's a good catch though, this article will not only be about music, but it will be about bringing it together through fashion and technology with Lucy McRae's art, and architectural designs.

Pretty shocking right? Lucy is an Australian artist that works with fashion, the human body, and technology. Her inventions consist of building structures to the skin to reshape human silhouettes.
Her most recent project was working with Robyn's new video 'Indestructible' [One of my favorite pop singers].

In Robyn's new video, dynamic textiles made from liquid, air, and vapor and being showcased [watch the video above]. The tubing was knitted to Robyn's body, and air was being released through the liquid within the tubes.
The idea of this project, is for gradient colors to pulse through the tubes at different speed and to give an effect of breathing through a dynamic skin that traverses the landscape of the body. So, watch for yourself. And remember that every video, song, and garment have a story behind it.
