As the weather gets cooler, a little motivation for what to wear this fall makes me excited! Notice the colors such as purples, greens, and oranges. It's time to add colors to this fall's usual browns, nudes, and blacks. Lace, knits,  leather, and silk continue to influence in everyday wear. Spike your outfits up with accessories and if you want to look daring, do a little bit of minor color blocking or different color contrast between each look. It's a fall to be creative and don't forget to make an easy way of recycling between other season's garments.

For my Forecasting Trends class, I am learning how to forecast fashion for 2013. So far, I am enjoying this project and wouldn't mind doing this as a living. Here is a mood board that I had to create to give the feeling of trends in 2013. Can you tell me how you feel when you look at this board?

Relaxing, enjoyable, soothing, and yet fashion forward. What else can I hope for this fall? Harper’s Bazaar August 2011, features models Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Ruby-Jean Wilson in "The Big Easy" photo shoot in Australia. 


This fall a lot of the fashion trends will consist of soft knits, jerseys, and plush shear. Be sure to focus on intertwining different clothing items and creating different layers within dresses, and long skirts. 
I know am getting ready for the fall, as I enjoy the last bit of this summer love.
