Being in Between Space and Proportion

Nothing looks more pleasing than the exposure of bright cool and deep warm colors combined for a Spring/Summer collection [in a fashion perspective]. Calvin Klein's men's ready-to-wear collection, introduces 2014s summer skies through a series of blue garments and bold prints. The idea of this collection, is to consider space and proportion through sportswear garments creating delusions throughout the body. In particular, this series of mostly color block oversized jackets, tailored blue suits, and the bright printed t-shirts, are also considered being the new "classic" trend referencing minimalism and the precision that Calvin Klein influences.

"Interpretation of the sky, through a hypnotic mix of acid-trip meets sunset prints"
- Isabella Burley, Dazed Digital Magazine

Klein's art of combining casual and formalwear at one of the biggest fashion events in Milan, left reviewers react with such calmness throughout the overall collection. Overall, I truly enjoyed watching this show. I took notes, observed, and appreciated how minimalism is now influenced through well known designers.
