Belleza Cultural

Wow, are the words to Valentino's Spring/Summer 2012 collection.  Valentino, being known as a house which has always resembled femininity and romance, reaches a state of beauty this summer.  Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, creative directors of Valentino, achieve the effort of balancing Valentino's romanticism idea with today's modern and contemporary woman.

Chiuri and Piccioli, have said that the mainly lace and color variations within the collection were highly inspired by the Mexican folk embroidery, along with Graciela Iturbide's Mexican photography from the 40s.

Personally this collection is definitely my favorite this summer. Not only for reminding me of my beautiful culture, but for being able to translate such romanticism and fantasy into today's modern woman.

Always think of beauty ladies!
Xoxo,
Shayla Torres.
